In today's fast-moving world, we hardly get time to think about our origin, samskaras, religious and cultural practices followed in routine life or on special occasions. These days, "Pratha", "pooja" etc. are performed superficially without knowing its true purpose and meaning. Today many rituals and customs are followed just as a tradition, and has lost its meaning and reasoning. Our culture is one of the oldest that has Scientific approach, many researchers and scientists have agreed to this fact.
Unfortunately, when such concepts or customs are questioned either by self-retrospection and / or by others, due to lack of sufficient authentic information about our rich culture and its practices, people tend to lose their faith and connection to rituals and practices.
Hinduism as in religion, whether you call it way of life or set of practices as said by many learned people, is all encompassing, grand and very accommodating at the same time complete - as in covering all aspects of life (पुरुषार्थः) - as famously known as धर्मः - Religion, अर्थः - Economical, कामः - Desire & मोक्षः - Liberation.
But due to continuous foreign invasions, modern busy life, focus on basic survival needs and/or lack of sufficient efforts we fail to discover correct methods, ways, meaning of routine and other deep practices and processes. Besides, these are the times where prevails many extremes like religious conversions, a systematic shaming that makes Hindu religious fellow develop lower esteem and trust on his/her religion. Which is why this website is an attempt to shed light and pat off dust from our cultural aspects.
The intention behind putting up this research and sharing the outcome in a simple digestible language & format via this website is to bring in light the deep embedded scientific, philosophical and spiritual concepts in Hindu culture and make it available to common men, who is interested to know more but doesn't have enough time to research.
